Your Excellency, your reign as the Executive Governor of Kogi State has been very eventful, making your marks on almost every sphere of human endeavour.

I hounourable Saidu Akawu Salihu. Commissioner for Water Resources and Rural Development, on behalf of the management and staff congratulate His Exellency, the Executive Governor of Kogi State Alhaji Ibrahim Idris on the gaint achievments in the Water Sector in the past three years.

 I, Dr. Abubakar Abdulkareem, the Hon. Commissioner for Budget and Planning, the Permanent Secretary and the entire staff of the Ministry heartily felicitate with our amiable Governor, His Excellency, Alhaji Ibrahim Idris, his Deputy, Mr. Philip Salawu, JP the State Executive Council, Members of the State House of Assembly, the Judiciary and indeed, the entire good people of Kogi State.

Within a spate of three years, the monumental achievement of yur administration has endeared you to the people of Kogi State. You have succesffuly turned around the fortunes of the State from that of neglect to that of pride and envy. The State has become a cynosure of all eyes as a result of your purposeful leadership, dogged determination and prudent financial management.

We sincerely wish to assure Your Excellency that the Ministry of Budget and Planning will continue to prepare realistic Budgets and ensure effective monitoring and implementation of projects. We wish to pledge our continuous and unalloyed loyalty to your administration.
